The Last of Us Official Map App App Reviews

Not the quality found in previous map apps from this vendor. Map shows: Artifacts, comics, manuals, and firefly pendants. It does not show basic items that *always* appear in a specific location, like health packs, weapons parts, clubs, shivs, ammo, etc. Ammo is dropped by dead enemies too, but quite often it exists in defined areas. Multiple sub-maps are crammed on one page, with no description labels. The "start" location is marked, but (sometimes) continues with confusing A, B, C markers, rather than sub-map *descriptions*. Couldnt they draw simple arrows to connect? It took a little while to figure out which sub-map I was in! One sub-map states "TO: MAIN STREET" at its end. Just one problem - theres no "MAIN STREET" marker! But theres music and sound effects! Save your 3 Euros and search google images for the maps.

This is a helpful app. I was going through the game without maps the first time. Will probably use this the second time on new game + to get all the artifacts. Id give it 5 stars if we could get the locations of tools on the maps. Also workbench locations would be awesome. Needs to have a better way to track where you are going next on the maps. On a few maps this is confusing. There were also like 2 artifacts not in the exact areas posted on the maps. If they did a few improvements it could be very helpful. Other than that this app is done very well, and includes the soundtrack running in the background. When you press on options it uses the same sound effects as the game. Buy this instead of the guide book. It gives you just enough if your a completionist, without giving any action away. I think its over priced by about a dollar as is, so if you dont mind searching every nook and cranny, then Id skip the purchase of this app in its present state.

There are several inaccuracies for item and locations. Example Tesss list is not in the right spot or there are duplicate map entrances making some map confusing to read. It feels like this was rushed and therefore inaccurate.

Just like all the other guides in the series of these, the maps arent very detailed and item location is mixed up. Better than nothing, I guess.

Its very helpful. Its about 95% accurate, there are some discrepancies. Shiv Rooms wouldve been a nice add. Good to use as a guide, or to go back for what you missed in Chapters. But dont completely rely on it. Also, make sure you look at some of the items in your bag, or you might not get credit for the collectible.

Its a good app overall. I like it! Iv already played through the game twice before I found this bad boy and right within the first 10-15 minutes of play I found some stuff I missed previously. The only complaints I have are some of the level maps are hard to follow, I had to guess which area I was in cuz some of the layouts dont seem to follow a pattern or particular order to keep yourself in sync with your gameplay... Also maybe a great update would be to include shiv doors locations. Also maybe a list of the trophies that can be earned. OVERALL THOUGH, GREAT GAMING TOOL :)

Im just lazy enough to not want to switch pages back and forth to the maps in the strategy guide, so I bought this. Added bonus of now being able to turn the lights off. I can use my phone to read the maps and then it also doubles as a flashlight to read the guide for the enemies, supplies, and other trophies/collectible conversations and tags. Would have been a 5-star if it had the supplies labeled on the maps too.

Does what is says. It could do more to be great. Note to app developer: For $2.99, would it hurt to include other items like tools, parts, and other various items that are essential to your characters well-being? Good interface, could do without the music or sound effects, Im using this while I play the game. Not necessary. Could focus more including more legend items and tips.

Artifact 9 on the outskirts is put on the wrong place..

I bought and used this guide to help me check off all artifacts. The maps look great, but there a some big flaws; The first and major flaw is, locations of artifact arent always accurate! Also the maps are too cumbersome, yet also to small on the screen. Lastly, the entire app is not user friendly. Sometimes selecting individual artifacts can be extremely difficult. There are a lot if issues that need to be corrected before this app would be worth even 99¢, but Im sure thatll never happen due to the nature of this guide/game.

This app gets one star because of its many inaccuracies of item locations. It doesnt even matter that the maps look beautiful and the maps look colorful and the check-off list works okay. The whole point of a map is to tell you specifically where things are and this app does not do that in all circumstances. Ive only made it to the outskirts so far and already there have been three misrepresentations of item locations on the map. Furthermore its unclear from the map layout which areas connect and which areas dont. There is not a clear path from A to B and not all of the ties to parts of the maps are connected. This is just another example of content that gets published without quality editing. Stand for quality and dont waste your money with this app!!

Why cant there be an update to show shiv doors and tools? Are these not collectibles? Please make this update happen.

Dont pay for this. The maps are too small and hard to read, due to lack of detail.

Cant buy DLc map Maps missing conversations and shiv doors

Some of the items are not on the right place plz fix this..

No shiv doors. It has a toggle for conversations but is either missing some or all conversations.

I purchased the Left Behind DLC maps—good stuff!

Only given general area of item, most not even close to where they are shown on maps. Tools, tool tables, training manuals among other essential and non collector related things. Wish I could get a refund
